Company Formation

Incorporation, Companies House registration and your tax setup.

Is this you?

Who this is for

  • You're starting a business and wonder if a limited company is right
  • Your sole-trader profits have grown to where incorporation may save tax
  • You've been offered a contract that requires a limited company
  • You formed a company online and now realise nothing else was set up

What's included

Handled end to end

  • Honest sole trader vs limited company advice with your numbers first
  • Companies House incorporation — name, structure, shares, directors done right
  • Corporation Tax, PAYE and VAT registrations as needed
  • Registered office and confirmation statement service
  • Business bank account and bookkeeping setup guidance
  • A first-year compliance calendar so nothing is a surprise

How it works

Three steps, then it's off your desk.

01

Structure conversation

Fifteen minutes on your plans — sometimes the right answer is "stay a sole trader for now", and we'll say so.

02

We incorporate properly

Share structure, PSC register, registrations — the things DIY formations miss.

03

Launch pack

Your compliance calendar, optimal director salary, and everything HMRC expects in year one.

What new companies must do

Register for Corporation Tax within 3 months of starting to trade. First accounts are due 21 months after incorporation; a confirmation statement is due annually. Directors take on legal duties from day one — including identity verification under Companies House's newer rules. Skipping the admin is how £150+ penalties start arriving.

Common questions

Company Formation, answered.

There isn't one; it depends on profit level, risk, whether you need to retain earnings, and admin appetite. As a rough rule the tax case strengthens as profits pass ~£30–50k — but we'll run your actual numbers free in the consultation.

A fixed fee including Companies House charges, all registrations and the launch pack — quoted upfront. Beware £12 online formations: the incorporation is the cheap part; the setup around it is what protects you.

Yes — we handle the incorporation, move assets across correctly, register everything, and close off your sole-trader records cleanly at the right date.

It must be unique at Companies House and avoid sensitive words. We check availability and trademark red flags before you fall in love with a name.
