How it works

Three steps, then it's off your desk.

01

Records in

We collect your bookkeeping — or do it — and reconcile everything.

02

Draft & review

Accounts drafted, then a review call: performance, tax position, what to change next year.

03

Approve & file

You sign, we file with Companies House and HMRC, confirmations to your inbox.

Deadlines & penalties

Private companies must file accounts within 9 months of year end (first accounts: 21 months from incorporation). Companies House penalties start at £150 and rise to £1,500 — and double if you're late two years running. Directors are personally responsible; persistent failure risks the company being struck off.

Common questions

Yes. Catch-up work on late or messy accounts is one of the most common jobs we take on. We'll quote a fixed fee for the whole clean-up upfront.

If you want. Some clients hand us a shoebox annually; most move to simple cloud bookkeeping we maintain monthly — it makes year end faster and cheaper.
